In Memory

OF CANDI SMITH, Au.D.

1/16/64 – 10/10/12

Our friend and co-worker, Candi S. Smith, Au.D, passed away on October 10, 2012 following a short, but courageous battle with cancer. She had been an audiologist in our practice and a special part of our team for almost 15 years, and we miss her greatly. Candi’s compassion and love for her career was evident by the number of patients who loved her, requested to see her, and recommended her to their friends.

She held a special place in her heart for the hearing impaired and worked very hard to improve the lives of her patients and those close to them. As many know, Candi had a zest for life and could easily put a smile on one’s face at a moment’s notice with her quick remarks and wit. As she would have liked, we will continue to care for her patient’s hearing healthcare needs in both our Surfside and Myrtle Beach locations.

Due to many inquiries of what can be done in memory of Candi, we are sharing her family’s requests. They asked memorials be made to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church at 65 Crooked Oak Drive, Pawleys Island, South Carolina 29585 or The Ashley G. Foundation to support cancer research at P.O. Box 14, Pawleys Island, South Carolina 29585.
