Elizabeth Hoene
Au.D.
Dr. Elizabeth Hoene earned her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) from Western Michigan University in 2024, following the completion of her Bachelor of Science in Speech Pathology and Audiology at Kent State University in 2020. She also pursued minors in gerontology and psychology, reflecting her dedication to understanding the diverse needs of her patients. Dr. Hoene is licensed by the South Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists.
Her passion for audiology stems from a deeply personal place—having been born with severe hearing loss, Dr. Hoene was fitted with her first pair of hearing aids as a child. This early experience sparked a lifelong curiosity about the auditory system and a desire to better understand the impacts of hearing loss. Her journey gives her a unique and empathetic perspective that fosters a strong sense of trust and connection with her patients. She strives to create a supportive environment where patients feel heard, understood and confident in their care.
Dr. Hoene specializes in working with adult and geriatric populations, with clinical interests that include diagnostic hearing evaluations, hearing aid fittings and vestibular assessments.
Originally from Ohio, Dr. Hoene took a leap of faith to relocate to South Carolina to begin her career with our practice. Outside the office, she enjoys reading, Zumba, spending time with her dog, relaxing at the beach and exploring local wineries.
